Dress Code
Participants are advised to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes for comfort and safety in the kitchens. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.

Advance your cake making expertise and become aware of the difference between a good cake and a masterpiece. Expand your skills, and imagination, with this unique and informative cake making class, and intensify your knowledge with our innovative and interactive teaching.
Our Chef is passionate about teaching students the skills and procedures essential to successful cake baking, often bypassed in many other classes. Gain the ability you need to make a range of delicious cakes; all elements of this course are ideal for beginners or for the more advanced wanting to develop their cake making skills. Learn the essential theory and methods to successful cake baking to produce an array of cakes.
Cakes made include Japonaise and a Chocolate & Caramel Mousse Cake plus a blueberry muffin demonstration. Participants will also develop the necessary piping skills to give your products a visual edge and impress your family and friends. Students will be instructed in the art of piping and many various methods, how to add colour, create different effects and ensure correct texture and how to create a professional finish every time.
It is a requirement that you complete ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ before commencing this class
On completion of this class you will receive a certificate of attendance.
A light lunch is provided for all class participants
Take home all you produce in class
