Higher Education International Enrolment

Congratulations on receiving an offer to study at William Angliss Institute. This page will take you through the steps you need to take to accept your offer, complete your enrolment and set up your ongoing William Angliss password.

1.    Login to eStudent

  1. Click here to access eStudent
  2. New William Angliss Students
    i.    Your username is your William Angliss Student ID Number.
ii.   Your initial enrolment password is your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY. At the end of this process you will set up your initial password for all William Angliss systems.
  3. Continuing William Angliss Students
    i.    Your username is your William Angliss Student ID Number.
ii.   If your existing password does not work (or you can’t remember it), use the Password Management Portal to re-set your password.

2.    Unique Student Identifier (USI)

You will need to complete this step if you have not previously submitted your USI to William Angliss.

Please move on to step 3 if:

  • You have previously studied at William Angliss after 2015
  • You included your USI in your application for entry to this course

You are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) issued by the Australian Government.

To apply for a USI, access your records, and for further information, please visit the following link (https://www.usi.gov.au/). Please ensure that all information that you have provided to William Angliss and via the USI portal is correct.

If you have studied at another Australian post-secondary institution commencing after 2015, you may already have a USI and will need to submit it to us if not submitted as part of your application for entry.

You are required to supply your USI prior to enrolment. Please submit your USI via email to International@angliss.edu.au and include your student number, full name and date of birth.

The USI is a reference number made up of ten numbers and letters that:

  • creates a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia, from all training providers you undertake recognised training with
  • will give you access to your training records and transcripts
  • can be accessed online, anytime and anywhere
  • is free and easy to create
  • stays with you for life

3.    Confirm, Edit and Add Personal Details

  1. This guide will step you through checking your personal details provided in your application and editing or adding information where required.

4.    Enrol in subjects and apply for credit

  1. Download the Progression Document attached to your Enrolment Instructions email. This will show you which 4 subjects you need to enrol in for your first semester (subjects marked with O).
  2. If you have applied for credit and have been assessed as eligible, you will also have been sent the Application for Advanced Standing or Recognition form. This form must be completed and submitted to degrees.admin@angliss.edu.au
    i.    If there is a note on your Progression Document stating that the credit is ‘Pending’, credit will not be processed until we receive the application form and the outstanding documents.
  3. This guide will take you through enrolling in subjects. Only enrol in the 4 subjects marked with O on your Progression Document.

5.    Select your timetable

  1. HOW TO COMPLETE CLASS REGISTRATION and follow the steps provided

You will be able to make changes to your timetable through eStudent up until the start of the semester. Please note that as the start of the semester approaches, classes are likely to fill up, so you should select your timetable as soon as possible.

The schedule is predominantly face-to-face, campus-based delivery. The opportunity for online participation from within or outside Australia is limited. You will be able to see which classes are on campus or online when completing class registration in eStudent.

On campus, classes will show a room number in eStudent (e.g. A227).

  • If you select to register for an on-campus class, you are expected to attend on campus from the start of the semester until the full duration of the semester.

Online classes will show ‘online' instead of a room number in eStudent.

  • If you select to register for an online class, you are expected to attend it online for the full duration of the semester and agree that campus attendance for the class is not required.

Where the campus is open, all students are able to come on campus and use the facilities.

Lectures will be recorded. The recording will be made available after the class has finished.
