Worksmith’s first Cocktail Festival is one for the books!

Melbourne has been shaken and stirred by Worksmith's inaugural Cocktail Festival - the city's best bars, restaurants, and event spaces were all involved in the festivities late last month.
The event involved 25 of Melbourne's best bars, 15 industry-leading speakers, 30 beverage producers, 40 events, and of course (what seemed like) an endless supply of cocktails.
As we are in our second year of partnership with Worksmith, we were able to present exciting opportunities for our students to take part in this iconic event. Six of our Hospitality students flexed their skills as they volunteered at the opening event, MCF Symposium.
Elysia Corallo, our Student Opportunities Coordinator, was there to guide our students. "We were thrilled to have our hospitality students participate in Melbourne's inaugural cocktail festival. Along with assisting in a range of events across the festival, they also had the opportunity to attend Splash! the Spirit tasting event, further elevating what they've been learning in their classrooms. Students were able to connect with industry and find out more about the ever-changing world of hospitality."
