Inaugural industry networking event for Sydney campus

William Angliss Institute's Sydney campus held its first industry networking event recently.

With representatives from fine dining establishments Chin Chin and Automata, Marriott International Hotels, Barcats and Alseasons Hospitality Employment Group in attendance, they met with over 40 current students about industry opportunities.

Angliss patisserie alumni, Frankie Ferrante, chef de partie at one-hatted restaurant, Otto, spoke to the students about his journey as a chef upon graduation and what employers are looking for in recent graduates.

The Angliss Careers & Employment team prepared students for the networking event by running several resume and networking workshops.
