Grand Prix experience for students

Angliss hospitality students were working front and back of house with the team from Food and Desire Catering at the Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Hospitality students were selected through an interview process and given in-house training at Food and Desire in the lead up to the event.

Diploma of Events students visited the world-class event as part of their studies.

They investigated how staging such a large, complex event requires a combination of technological advances, government support and business partnerships.

The students also considered the corporate responsibility in building awareness of charitable and educational programs through such events.
